The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is a senior executive in the company, whose main task is to safeguard the company’s information systems and information from cyber-attacks. The CISO must have a deep knowledge of the company’s information security policies, structures, and procedures as well as the vulnerabilities and capabilities of the company’s information technology (IT). A CISO is responsible in directing and managing the organization’s security operations. This includes recovery and response to incidents.
